Shashank Chakerwarti was appointed to the office of Peace Commissioner by the Minister for Justice and Equality, Charlie Flanagan on 26th July 2018.
He engages local communities and EMPOWERS people in his duties as Peace Commissioner for Co. Dublin and surrounding counties.
Peace Commissioner duties i.e. only the following are free to avail:

Taking statutory declarations;

Witnessing signatures on documents required by various authorities;

Signing certificates and orders under various Acts.
Located in Tyrrelstown, Dublin 15. Applicants are requested to travel to the residence with their current passport as ID, proof of address, and originals + copies of documents they wish to get attested.

OriginShashank originally hails from the spiritual land of India and came to Ireland at the mere age of 12. He has spent his formative years in the Republic of Ireland and has always envisioned of being service to his community and nation.

EducationShashank is a former student of Coolmine Community School and completed his Junior Cert and Leaving Cert in 2009 & 2011, respectively. He followed on his family's footsteps to become an engineer but little did he know that he will end up venturing into the world of business when he completed his Bachelors of Business at the National College of Ireland. Shashank later graduated with a Masters in International Business from NCI in 2020. Shashank completed his Professional Diploma in Immigration & Asylum Law with a distinction in 2021 from City Colleges.

ExperienceShashank embarked on his entrepreneurial journey in 2015 when he launched Indian Youth Ireland to promote innovation and entrepreneurship among young Indians in Ireland, the organisation became the largest network of young Indians in Ireland. Shashank has also served as a valuable member on the US Embassy Youth Council from 2017 to 2019, advising the Embassy on issues facing young people in Ireland and provide input into policy issues related to the U.S.-Irish relationship.

WorkShashank runs a small web-designing and digital marketing business headquatered in Tyrrelstown, Dublin and is on a mission to help local businesses go online during the most unprecendented times in our nation's histroy, he helps local business owners on how to use social media and highlights the government grants available to them.
